Young Life of Canada is committed to the health and well-being of all participants in our programs.  We are closely monitoring and responding to the global COVID-19 outbreak.   We are committed to understanding and complying with all guidance and regulations provided and established by the Federal and Provincial health and safety authorities as we make decisions about suspending or canceling Young Life activities.   More than complying with regulations, we are also seeking to follow best practices and convential wisdom pertaining to all local activities that we sponsor.

Beginning Monday, March 16 and continuing through Friday, April 3rd the following directives will be followed:

  1. Young Life business travel will be canceled or postponed for these three weeks
  2. All Young Life in person events (with 10 or more people) will be suspended or postponed for these three weeks
  3. Groups under 10 people are encouraged to meet via web or telephone conferences
  4.  Large events, scheduled after May 1st, are not suspended, postponed nor affected by this policy until future updates address them.

As policy and news about the crisis expand everyday, the leadership of Young Life is committed to issuing weekly updates to confirm or adapt our decisions.
