The Iron Bike this year is being held September 9-11. We have two distance options this year: 108km (Jasper to Columbia Icefields) and 233km (Jasper to Lake Louise). It's a beautifully scenic, fun-filled, relationship-building ride. As a rider, you can expect: a fashionable cycling jersey, tons of delicious food, all the snacks and water and Gatorade any cyclist could ever consume in one day, and a fantastic support crew to help you out with things like tire tube changes, etc.

To register, please click the "Biker Register" link on the left hand side of this page. There are also links to Support A Rider, for Rider Login, Corporate Sponsorship, and More Info (where you can send your questions).

Throughout the summer there are also weekly group training rides on Sunday afternoons, where you get to meet other Iron Bikers, learn about valuable cycling skills like drafting, and get invaluable training on hills and distance riding. We would really encourage you to get out for the group rides, even if you are undecided about whether or not you'll do the Iron Bike. It's a great opportunity to get plugged into the Iron Bike community, the other riders are very encouraging, and it'll give you a good idea of what you can expect from the ride itself. If you are interested in these rides, click on "More Info" on the left, and mention that in your email.
